Principle of horizontal ribbon mixer machine 

We have a double helical blade on the main drive shaft of the mixer. The inner spiral transports the material to the outside, and the outer spiral gathers the material to the inside. The inner diameter and outer diameter spirals installed on the mixing shaft drive the material in the barrel, allowing the mixer to turn the materials within the range of the barrel. During the working hours of the stirring device, the spiral drives the material near the axis to rotate around the axis and pushes the axial direction from the inside to both sides. The outer spiral drives the material close to the barrel wall to rotate around the axis. Then it pushes the axial direction from both sides to the inside.  Finally, the machine mixes the materials evenly.

Scope of application of horizontal ribbon mixer machine

We can widely use it in the mixing of putty, real stone paint, dry powder, putty, medicine, food, chemicals, feed, ceramics, refractory material solid-slurry (i.e. powder and glue liquid), and is especially suitable for mixing viscous materials. This mixer is not suitable for mixing materials with large fiber content and large density differences.

In putty paste, real stone paint, biology, medicine, food, and other industries, we recommend stainless steel. Under normal circumstances, when mixing dry mortar containing vitrified microspheres, We suggest you use a horizontal ribbon mixer. The motor and the mixing spindle are directly connected through a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, which has a simple structure, high operating reliability, and easy maintenance.

Powder materials adopt a pneumatic large door structure, which has the advantages of fast discharge and no residue.  Moreover, high-fine materials or semi-fluid materials use manual butterfly valves or pneumatic butterfly valves, manual butterfly valves are economical and practical. Pneumatic butterfly valves have good sealing properties for semi-fluids, but the cost is higher than manual butterfly valves. When we need to heat or cool the material, we can configure the jacket. There are two heating methods: electric heating and heat conduction oil heating. Electric heating is convenient, but the heating speed is slow and the energy consumption is high. Thermal oil heating requires an oil pan and oil-conducting power, pipes are expensive, but they heat up quickly and consume less energy. The cooling process can directly inject cooling water into the jacket. The jacket has a large heat exchange area and a fast cooling rate.
