Customized parts of the ribbon blender mixer
1. Ribbon type
For different application scenarios, we can provide different types of ribbon blender mixer. Usually, we use standard ribbons for general mixing, interrupted ribbons are suitable for sticky materials. For very abrasive mixing tasks, the ribbons are available in a bolt-on replaceable design for easy replacement when worn.
2. Continuous operation
Ribbon blender mixer is suitable for continuous operations where large amounts of the same material need to be processed per hour. Continuous ribbon mixers differ from intermittent mixers in that the mass flow of product is from the inlet of the vessel to the outlet at the other end.
3. Heating/cooling jacket
Jacketed tanks for steam, thermal oil or water heating/cooling operations. Optional ASME/PED certification for high pressure operation.
4. Liquid nozzle
We can add liquid to the powder through a nozzle installed on the pipe at the top of the mixing tank.
5.CIP (cleaning in place) spray ball
We can install an optional CIP spray ball on the mixer to easily and automatically clean the interior of the mixer using a customer CIP cleaning station.
6. Customized incoming and outgoing materials
A variety of feeding and discharging methods are available. We can design the feed with a sliding cover, suitable for applications with limited height; for the discharge of the product, manual, pneumatic or electrically operated valves are optional according to the customer’s preference.
7. Vacuum drying and degassing
We can design the ribbon blender mixer for vacuum drying and degassing in special applications.
